Terms

These terms are a contract between you (the business that uses Aser One) and us. By creating an account or using Aser One, you accept them.

1. Who you contract with

Your seller depends on your country. “We” means ASER Technologies and, for sales in Kenya, Aser General Trading.

ASER Technologies publishes and operates Aser One in every country.

2. The service

We give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Aser One for your business while your plan is active. Features change over time. Free plans and trials come with no commitment and may change or end.

3. Your account

You must be able to sign a contract for your business. Keep your login private. You are responsible for everything done in your account. Tell us at once about any unauthorised access.

4. Prices and payment

• Plans are paid in advance, monthly or yearly.
• Burundi: 18% VAT is added. ASER Technologies invoices through OBR. Pay by bank transfer to KCB Bank Burundi, account 06690363538, account name “ASER Technologies”.
• Kenya: prices are final, with no VAT. Pay by M-Pesa Paybill 522533, account 8087334, or with the KCB app or Vooma to account 8087334. The payee is “Aser General Trading”.
• Activation: in Kenya, send us your M-Pesa or KCB confirmation code and phone number. Our staff confirm the payment or transfer, then your plan is activated.
• Renewal: each new cycle needs a new payment. If it is late, we may suspend access after notice.
• Price changes apply from your next cycle, after notice. Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

• break the law or anyone's rights, or enter fraudulent, hateful or deceptive content;
• issue false invoices, launder money or fund illegal activity;
• send spam through the messaging or collections tools;
• upload malware, access accounts or systems without permission, or test our security without written consent;
• bypass limits, overload the service, reverse-engineer it (except where the law allows) or resell it.

If you do, we may remove content, limit features, or suspend or close the account, with no refund. Report abuse or a security flaw to info@aser-tech.com.

6. Your data

Your data stays yours, and you are responsible for it. You confirm you may enter the data of your customers, staff and suppliers. You let us host and process it to run the service. Keep your own exports: we back up, but cannot promise zero data loss. See our privacy policy.

7. AI features

• AI output can be wrong. It is not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice.
• Check it before you confirm. You are responsible for what you do with it.
• AI use may have quotas by plan. We may change features and models.
• We do not use your data to train third-party public AI models without your consent.

8. Tax compliance

Aser One helps you invoice and, in Burundi, send data to OBR / EBMS. Your tax and accounting compliance remains your responsibility. We are not liable for fines, reassessments or disputes caused by your filings, wrong data, a third-party outage or a change in the rules.

9. Third-party services

Aser One connects to services such as M-Pesa, KCB, MTN MoMo, WhatsApp, tax platforms, hosting and AI providers. Their own terms apply. We are not liable for their outages, errors or changes.

10. Availability and support

We work for a reliable service but do not promise it will never stop. Support depends on your plan. A service-level agreement applies only to Enterprise or custom plans that include one.

11. Intellectual property

Aser One, its code, design and brand belong to ASER Technologies. All rights reserved.

12. Warranty and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data or opportunity.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. For the free plan and trials, it is limited to a nominal amount equivalent to BIF 50,000.

You will indemnify us against claims, fines and costs caused by your data, your breach of these terms or the law, or your tax obligations.

13. Ending the contract

• You may cancel at any time. It takes effect at the end of the current cycle, with no refund of that cycle.
• We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, a breach, a security risk or a legal duty, with notice where possible.
• After closure, you can export your data for at least 30 days. It may then be deleted.

14. Changes and force majeure

We may change the service and these terms. We tell you about major changes by email or in the app. Using Aser One after that means you accept them. We are not liable for events beyond our control, such as power or network failures, provider failures or natural disasters.

15. Governing law and disputes

We first try to settle any dispute amicably, within thirty (30) days of written notice.

• Kenya: your purchase from Aser General Trading is governed by the laws of Kenya. Failing an amicable settlement, the courts competent under Kenyan law decide.
• Everyone else: the laws of Burundi apply. Failing an amicable settlement, the competent courts of Bujumbura, Burundi have exclusive jurisdiction.

Mandatory consumer-protection rules still apply.

16. General

These terms and the policies they link to are the whole agreement. If a clause is invalid, the rest still applies. Not using a right does not waive it. You may not transfer this contract without our written consent. Send notices to info@aser-tech.com.
